The Qatar Financial Centre Authority’s (QFCA) Public Register identifies law firms licensed by the QFCA to provide legal services in or from the Qatar Financial Centre under the Qatar Financial Centre Law (QFC Law), Law no. 7 of 2005, as amended. To check the Public Register please click here.
The QFCA has a cooperative relationship with the Qatari Lawyers Association (QLA) which is a membership organization of Qatari lawyers licensed under the Qatar Advocacy Law (Advocacy Law), Law No. 23 of 2006, and together have established the Qatar Legal Practitioners Committee. The QLCP is described in the attached 1 July 2009 Press Release.
As a service to and on behalf of QLA, the QFCA publishes and periodically updates the list of QLA members. The list identifies QLA members, their contact details and their specializations, in the form and in the manner provided to QFCA by the QLA.
The publication on the QFCA website of the names of QFC law firms registered under the QFC Law or QLA members licensed under the Advocacy Law should not be considered to be a recommendation or referral by QFCA of any of the QFC law firms or Qatari lawyers whose names appears on the website.
