His Excellency Mohamed A. Althani, Qatar’s Minister of Economy and Commerce today announced the appointment of Mr Phillip Thorpe to be Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) with effect from March 10, 2005.
