The Qatar Financial Centre has enacted regulations and rules governing data protection in the QFC. The regulations and rules, which were signed into law by H.E. Sheikh Mohamed Al Thani, Minister of Economy and Commerce and Chairman of the QFC Authority, contain requirements relating to the collection, maintenance and transfer of personal data in the QFC.
