The Qatar Financial Centre Authority is the principle sponsor of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) seminar at the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha on November 9th entitled: "Managing Risks in the GCC: The Challenges and Opportunities".
In this first annual seminar, the IRM brings together leading risk management experts from a wide range of sectors. The seminar will cover topics such as: risk management in the financial services sector; risk management in the energy & construction sectors and risk management awareness and culture in organization.
Fetooh Al-Zayani, Managing Director Business Development Insurance and Reinsurance said: “The IRM seminar will examine the fast changing business landscape in the GCC, with new opportunities, customer demands and market globalization that calls for risk management to form an integral part in the development of business and financial markets in the MENA region.

Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority
The QFC Authority is the commercial, administrative and legislative body of the QFC which is responsible for driving its commercial strategy, developing its commercial laws and forging relationships with the global corporate community and other key institutions both within and outside of Qatar. The QFC is a financial and business centre established by the Government of Qatar and located in Doha. It has been designed to attract international financial services institutions and major multi-national corporations and to encourage participation in the growing market for financial services in Qatar and elsewhere in the region. Institute of Risk Management
IRM is risk management's professional education body.
